Back by popular demand, and in the lead up to our Outdoor Arts festival, Hassan Lofti returns to lead a new series of free workshops for students and staff at the University of Essex.
It’s quick to learn the basics of African Drumming and tutor Hassan is experienced in teaching people of all levels. Come and enjoy this fun and exuberant way to let off steam, make some fantastic noise and pick up some rhythmical skills too. All instruments are provided, the classes are first come first served and although spaces are limited we’ll accommodate as many people as possible each time.
There are three workshops all in taking place in the Art Exchange gallery on:
Wednesday 22 April, 29 April and Friday 1 May. The Friday workshop will be followed by a performance on the square 3.
