Guest curator Dr Lisa Blackmore will discuss the potential of art-making to generate fictions and documents which connect diverse communities through shared processes of geological, industrial and environmental changes that shape landscapes worldwide.
Dr Lisa Blackmore, from the Department of Art History and Philosophy, University of Essex, has worked closely with the Essex Collection of Art from Latin America (ESCALA) curating Alejandro Jaime’s exhibition ‘Aggregate Flows’, the culmination of his six week residency in Essex.
Lisa’s talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
