Artist Alicja Rogalska talks about the ideas behind her thought provoking work with curator Jess Twyman.
Alongside Alicja Rogalska’s on-line exhibition ‘Other Voices’, we are looking forward to this opportunity to expand on ideas raised in her collaborative films. The political subtext of everyday life is central to Rogalska’s practice – with migration, workers rights and how the legal system can support or deny them being raised again and again. With each group of collaborators that she works with, Rogalska creates the space for voices to be heard and co-exist.
Join us in finding out more about Alicja’s collaborative way of working as she exposes the reliance of capitalism and its global markets on marginalised communities.
