Come along and join us talking about art and ideas on Zoom- you always knew that isolation was never going to keep us quiet!
For the month of June we will be discuss the essays of artist Hito Steyerl, collected together in The Wretched of the Screen.
Steyerl is one of the sharpest critics examining the intersection between the internet, surveillance capitalism, post-truth, and the art world today. She was recently voted the No 1 most influential person in the art world. (Art Review, 2014).
For our next book club on Wednesday 24 June we turn to another crucial essay by Steyerl, ‘The Spam of the Earth:Withdrawal and Representation’.
