Please join us for a talk with artist and filmmaker Imran Perretta, who will expand on themes raised in his extraordinary film ’15 days’,  inspired by the time he spent in Calais with refugees hiding out in the surrounding woodland.

Perretta captures this state of limbo through the otherworldly medium of the computer-generated image, creating a compelling video which captures the intense emotions of living on the edge and brings them to the centre of our thoughts.

In collaboration with Film Studies, from the Dept of Literature, Film and Theatre, we will screen Imran’s film 15 days in Cine 10, followed by Q&A with filmmaker Imran Perretta.

Venue: Cine 10, Lecture Theatre Block

Time: 6:30-7:30pm

Carry on the conversation with Imran at our post-talk reception.

Admission free – all welcome!

This talk is part of a public programme organised in collaboration with the Centre for Migration Studies, University of Essex.
