We bring together our wonderful University of Essex students, academics and curators as they reveal the art that as inspired them to think differently about the world.
The focus of their attention might be a picture on their wall, something in a book pulled from a shelf, an artwork from a collection – or sharing a video clip on their computer, but whatever it is, it will open a window into their world.
This week Dr Michael Tymkiw, from the School of Philosophy and Art History, tells us about Doris Salcedo’s fascinating installation work Palimpsest.
It’s one of the ways we want to stay connected and bring our communities back together again while we’re apart.
Join us every fortnight from Thursday 8 October on Art Exchange’s Instagram Page.
