We bring together our University of Essex students, academics and curators as they reveal the art that as inspired them to think differently about the world.
The focus of their attention might be a picture on their wall, something in a book pulled from a shelf, an artwork from a collection – or sharing a video clip on their computer, but whatever it is, it will open a window into their world. It’s one of the ways we want to stay connected and bring our communities back together again while we’re apart.
This week Jess Twyman, curator at Art Exchange, tells us about the work of an amazing young artist, Kudzanai Violet Hwami.
