Circulatory Strategies Symposium
This evening focuses on art that circulates in the postal system from work made under dictatorship in Argentina and Chile in the 70s and 80s, to contemporary use of the mail as means of circulating art.
Our panel includes critic Guy Brett who will talk about Chilean artist Eugenio Dittborn’s Airmail Paintings, gallerist Alex Sainsbury will discuss Ray Johnson’s famous New York Correspondence School and Gabriela Salgado, Curator of Public Programmes at Tate Modern, will consider the postal distribution of León Ferrari’s infinite editions.
