Led by filmmaker Maria Anastassiou, come along and explore 16mm film techniques as the gallery is turned into a film studio for the night.
Exploring techniques used in her film ‘Way My It Did I’, Maria will introduce you to analogue 16mm film Bolex cameras and the unique possibilities they afford. Come along and shoot reversal film portraits using double exposures to explore surface and illusory depth.
Participants are invited to bring along a favourite textile, or any material with a striking pattern to be used in the film.
