Woman’s Hour perform Seeing Voices, a collaboration with British Sign language Interpreters
Acclaimed British band Woman’s Hour are embarking on a UK tour of arts venues, showcasing their newly devised live performance with Sign Language interpreters taking centre-stage.
The show incorporates a specially commissioned video projection by the artists Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, using previously unseen footage from the British Deaf Association archives.
The tour is in partnership with Attitude is Everything, a charity dedicated to improving Deaf and disabled people’s access to live music. The aim is to attract both Deaf and hearing audiences, enabling a unique engagement between the music industry, the visual arts and the Deaf community.
