Join us in raising a glass to Folk Projects’ latest exhibition ‘It dissolves by the rain from the sky’.
Their latest works have been inspired by their walks along the coast near Art Exchange, during which the artists discovered the little known history of the 18th century Copperas picking industry that used 55 million year old wood – now turn to pyrites so it chinks when you tap the ‘wood’ – freed by coastal erosion from the East coast cliffs and gathered by nameless ‘poor, women and children’.
Artists Rosie Pedlow & Joe King will be with us to talk about their new work and residency at Art Exchange.
