You are warmly invited to the launch of ‘Place-making, World-making: Three Amazonian Indigenous Artists’, an exhibition which creates a platform for the work of a leading generation of Amazonian indigenous artists working today – Rember Yahuarcani, Brus Rubio and Harry Pinedo/Inin Metsa.
Join us in celebrating their work with an Online Tour of the show by guest-curator, Dr Giuliana Borea.
Working closely with the artists, Giuliana Borea creates a space for indigenous voices to be heard and ideas to be exchanged as they challenge stereotypes and debunk myths through the extraordinary paintings in this show. These artworks capture another world view, reminding us of the tensions and complexities of life for Amazonian indigenous people today.
Dr Giuliana Borea’s film will be launched on this page – we look forward to you joining us!
