Earlier on this year, Yvonne Buchheim approached students all over campus and asked them to sing a song of their choice – on the spot and in front of a video camera.

With the charm and ease of manner that persuaded this campus to sing, Yvonne will tell us about her search for singers, placing her residency at the University of Essex in the context of her extraordinary six-year song archive she’s amassed from around the world.
Yvonne, who admits she can’t sing, will also brave the mic and sing us a song, before opening up the offer to anyone in the audience to volunteer!
