Jeremy Over has been described as a ‘menthol lozenge on the confectionary stall of modern poetry’ ’ (Vic Allen, The North). He is a restless experimenter and game-player with language, working with ideas from Oulipo and other avant-gardes. His poetry has been published in various magazines and anthologies and his collections are: A Little Bit of Bread and No Cheese (Carcanet 2001); Deceiving Wild Creatures (Carcanet 2009).
Jeremy Over was born in Leeds, has an MA in creative writing from Manchester Metropolitan University and now lives and works in West Cumbria, moving there from Essex in 2004.
