Come along and join us for a study session led by the Women in STEM (WiSTEM) Society at the Uni of Essex.
Mathusa will introduce you to the society and its upcoming activities. The Women in STEM Society hosts weekly study sessions for members to work on their assignments or revision in the company of like minded others. They use the Pomodoro method for timed study sessions, and the in-built breaks are an opportunity for members to socialise and share experiences.
The study session will include a short tour of Farah Al Qasimi’s exhibition ‘Abort, Retry, Fail’, led by Dr Matt Bowman.
All welcome – both members of the society and those who would like to know more about STEM and the impact women activity have on the field.
Refreshments and snacks provided.
About Women in STEM Society
A society which promotes inclusivity for people in STEM, provides a platform and opportunities for underrepresented people within the community, and inspires people to work and study in STEM. Our society focuses on reaching out to women; however, all our events and socials are open to anybody who is passionate about celebrating STEM!
